Most startup ideas don’t fail because they’re “bad.”

They fail because they’re unvetted.

Founders fall in love with the pitch…
…but skip the sharpening.

“Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17

That verse isn’t just spiritual. It’s strategic.

Because in the startup space:
Community exposes blind spots

Counsel stress-tests assumptions
Accountability keeps you moving when the numbers say “quit”

Feedback turns a “cool idea” into a real business
And yes… the odds are against us.

But what else is new?

Here’s what I’ve learned:

When your idea gets properly sharpened—by builders who tell you the truth—success becomes less of a lottery and more of a timeline.

Not instant. Not easy.

But eventually… if you stay in the fire and keep refining.

So don’t build in isolation.

Get in the room. Get the counsel. Get the sharpening.
Stick your neck out.

Dream Loud. Build Big. Start Underneath.
